Teaching Calendar for AY 26-27

The Academic Year begins in October, ends in September and it is divided into two terms: 1st term (Fall) from October to February, 2nd term (Spring) from March to July.

During the Fall term, lectures are held from October to January, and exams (on two dates) are held in January and February.

During the Spring term, lectures are held from March to June  and exams (two dates) in June-July.

After the summer break, exams (two dates) are also offered in September.

Exams are offered for students of previous year in December and April.

There are also two further exam dates, one in April and one in November, which are reserved to students who are late with their studies (specific requirements apply).

In general, students are free to choose any exam date for each course they have taken during the year. Check the exact dates for the current Academic Year. Calender for all year is updated and published at the begin of the Academic year (October)

A.Y. 2026-27

Application for registration on the first year: June 15th 2026 up to September 30th 2026
Application for registration on year successive to the first: June 27th up to Septmber 30th

Study plans 
New students may propose a study plan at the enrollment time. The plan is provisionary and will be finalized at the entrance of the second year.
Students entering in the second year may propose a study plan from May 31rst up to July 27th
Students repeating the second year may upgrade their plan of study but choices fo new classe requires attendance of the new classe before taking exams.

Minimal changes to the study plan may be requested only in the first two weeks of the term where the change applies.

 

Lectures

  • 1st semester (Fall): from October 1st, 2026 to Janury 15th, 2027.
    • Winter break: from December 24th 2026 to January 6th, 2027.
    • Break for the reserved exams and midterm tests  from December 17th  to December 23rd 2026.
  • 2nd semester (Spring): from March 1rst 2027 to June 11th, 2027.
    • ​Spring break: from March 26th 2027 to March 30th, 2027.
    • Break for the reserved exams and midterm tests  from Aptil 19th to April 23rd 2027

Exams

Exams are held into three main periods (named "sessioni" in Italian):
  • 1st special Session for the reserved exams and midterm tests  from December 17th  to December 23rd 2026.
  • 1st session: 2 exam dates from January 18th, 2027 to February 26th 2027;
  • 2nd special Session for the reserved exams and midterm tests  from April 19th  to April 23rd 2027.
  • 2nd session: 2 exam dates from June 14th, 2027 to July 30th, 2027;
  • 3rd session: 2 exam dates from August 30th 2027 to September 30th, 2027.
 
Students enrolled in the last year of the course can also participate in the April 2025 exam sessions:
Two extra dates of exams are for students in Art.30 of regolamento Diattico di Ateneo (special class of students) are offered during the AY outside of any other exam period.
