First year students: now is the time for your Study Plan of next year!

Dear student,

Since few days and until July 27 2026 (sharp sharp deadline!) you are required to go on the SMARTEDU platform and choose your study plan for the next Academic Year.
(after july 27 you will not be able to do that anymore!, do it soon, do it now!)
In particular:

• - choose your 'curriculum' among 'Data Analysis' and 'Data Driven Application'
• - choose two classes as your 'supplementary classes' in the list below
• - choose two classes as your 'elective classes' both from the list below and from any other class (of Magistral degree) thought at Catania University

LIST:

• - Business Intelligence for Reporting (you will find it will the 'former name' 'Accounting Information Systems')
• - Big Data Sensing, Compression and Communication
• - Cloud Computing and Big Data
• - Data analysis for public health
• - Multimedia data modelling
• - Time Series for Dynamical Systems
• - Research Design and Data Analysis in Political Science
• - High Tech Markets, Industrial Organization and Growth
• - Time Series Analysis for Economics and Financial Data
• - Introduction to Scientific Computing
• - Behavioral Economics
• - AI coding and Verification

Be aware:
if you choose the 'Data Analysis' curriculum you may also choose as supplementary or elective:
- Data Science in the Factory of the Future
- IoT-based Applications for Intelligent Systems

if you choose the 'Data Driven Applications' curriculum you may also choose as supplementary or elective:
- Computer security and data protection
- Bayesian Statistics and Questionnaire Data Analysis

PLEASE: when you have done your choice on the portal send an email to giovanni.gallo@unict.it (or just reply to this email) with the following lines that you fill in according to your choices:
